Private View 26th September 6 -9 pm London

I am writing with news of an exciting contemporary art exhibition at which I have been invited to exhibit my portrait of the Queen assembled with name tapes of WWI fallen soldiers. Not to be missed, the exhibition is in London and is dedicated to Her Majesty the Queen, including sculpture, painting, photography, textiles, text, stitched newspaper, found vintage material, flowers and much more. It is a group exhibition of established and emerging cutting edge artists.

Please find an invitation attached, the venue is behind Selfridges, Marylebone, London.  If you are interested in going please RSVP to me by Friday 13th September with your name and any guests you would like to bring along. #gstq19

1 Ton = 3000 Used Garments

Like birds and humans, garments also migrate from one country, region, or place to another. Starting their life as a plant for harvesting, followed by weaving and finishing, garment production, shipping and distribution. These 3000 garments have been intercepted allowing them to pause at St Margaret’s Church before they complete their journey abroad to new communities and trade. Arranged in a circle and linked by their sleeves the sculpture reflects the support and inclusion offered in the context of the Church.

Architectural Panel - Size 20

I assembled this small panel during Open Studios using ladies size 20 small neck labels. Once I had calculated the zigzag rise and fall it was relatively simple to pin out in black and pink to reflect Victorian architecture. For sale 30 x 30 cm.
